PSG's Laurent Blanc won't divulge what Ronaldo said post-match
When the final whistle blew to finish Real Madrid's 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, Cristiano Ronaldo made a point of seeking out PSG gaffer Laurent Blanc for a chat.
The Frenchman is coy about what was said, suggesting that the Portuguese whispered nothing more than sweet nothings into his ear.
"Ronaldo told me certain things, yes," the 49-year-old admitted to a news conference via ESPN FC. "But as you might suspect, I won't say what it was.
"It was very complimentary anyway. I won't say any more about it."
Ronaldo has refused to pledge his future to the Bernabeu outfit lately, heightening speculation that he's interested in moving to the French capital by the time his contract expires in 2018.
This latest exchange between the mercurial Los Blancos forward and the World Cup winner will only fuel these rumours.
Real Madrid managed to grab four points in its two matches against PSG in the Champions League group stages, leaving the 2013-14 champion three points clear at the top of the table and assured of qualification into the knockout rounds.
A win at Malmo in the next round of fixtures will confirm qualification for the French side too, regardless of results elsewhere.
