The official match ball for the group stage of the European Championship in France was fittingly unveiled by one of the country's greatest footballers, Zinedine Zidane.
The French legend revealed the Beau Jeu on his Instagram account:
Beau Jeu, which translates to "beautiful game," features the colours of France's flag (red, white, and blue), as well as a design spread that says "EURO 2016."
It took Adidas over 18 months to design, with the German sporting goods company using some elements from the Brazuca FIFA World Cup match ball.
Players competing in France are set to receive the ball ahead of the tournament, which kicks off in June 2016, in order to familiarize themselves and practice with it.
"I tested Beau Jeu in training with long shots, passes, and running at pace. It performed brilliantly. I can't wait for the tournament to start," Wales and Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale said in a statement.
For good measure, the tournament's music ambassador, David Guetta, promoted the ball on social media.
