"I am very happy to extend my Paris Saint-Germain contract again," said Verratti, who joined the club in 2012. "I thank the club for all the trust it has shown in me all these years.
"I am going to continue giving everything, with my teammates, to bring joy to our supporters and to make our team the best in Europe."
PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi hailed Verratti as "one of the biggest talents in Europe" as he praised the Italian's latest decision to extend with the club and his influence on the side.
"I am very proud and I want to particularly express to the player the attachment we have for him. Marco is one of the idols of the Parc des Princes."
