Bordeaux sacks Willy Sagnol, appoints Ulrich Rame
Au revoir, Willy Sagnol.
On Monday, four days after being given a three-match ban for his behaviour during a Coupe de France tie, Sagnol was sacked as manager of FC Girondins de Bordeaux.

Replacing Sagnol at the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux will be Ulrich Rame, who will be assisted by Eric Bedouet, Franck Mantaux, Pierre Espanol - a trainer with the club since 2011 - and Mathieu Chalme.

While Bordeaux is only eight points out of the last Europa League place in Ligue 1, the club from southwestern France is also only five points above the relegation zone after suffering a 4-0 beating at Toulouse on Saturday, a fixture that saw Sagnol serve the first of his three-game suspension and continued his poor form in the top flight of French football.
28% - Willy Sagnol has lost 28% of his Ligue 1 games as Bordeaux manager, highest rate since Michel Pavon (29%). Fired.

Rame and his staff will lead a training session at Bordeaux for the first time Tuesday.
