Griezmann, Diarra on bench for France's trip to England

Antoine Griezmann and Lassana Diarra are both on the bench for France's friendly meeting with England on Tuesday.

Both were directly affected by the horrific attacks on Paris on Friday. Griezmann's sister escaped the Bataclan concert theatre after the venue was targeted by gunmen during an Eagles of Death Metal show, while Diarra's cousin was tragically caught up in the violence in the French capital and died.

The match between the pair at Wembley has become much more than just a sporting event. It is recognised as a defiant stance against the violence that tore through one of the world's most iconic cities.
