Inter signs Lisandro Lopez from Benfica on loan with option to buy

Inter Milan boosted its defensive unit with the acquisition of Lisandro Lopez, who joins the Italian side from Benfica on loan until the end of the season.
The deal includes an option to make the move permanent.

The centre-back learned his trade in his native Argentina where he was a member of Chacarita Juniors and Arsenal de Sarandi before signing on with the Portuguese giant in 2013.
Lopez, 28, only managed to appear in four matches with Benfica this season.
