Report: Pogba considering huge drop in salary to ensure Juventus return
Juventus are awaiting Paul Pogba's response to their offer of a net salary worth €8 million a year before add-ons, according to The Guardian's Fabrizio Romano.
The midfielder's weekly income at Manchester United is £290,000 (€339,350) per week, The Athletic's Laurie Whitwell reports. That means over a 52-week span his annual salary is around €17.65 million before tax.
Pogba is leaving United on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of June. The Red Devils bought the Frenchman from Juventus in 2016 for a then-record €105-million fee.
Juventus signed Pogba from United in 2012 for a paltry sum of around £800,000.

Juventus are confident of striking a three-year deal for Pogba to return to Turin, Sky Sports reports, but Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have been linked with the 29-year-old. Juve reportedly submitted a "concrete proposal" to Pogba in May.
An Amazon Prime film titled "The Pogmentary" is set to air on June 17. There's speculation Pogba's announcement could be tied to the documentary about his life.
