Sergio Busquets has committed his future to Barcelona by signing a new long-term contract with the Liga champions in a deal that will keep him at Camp Nou until 2021.
The contract, which Busquets is expected to sign in the next few days, has a €200-million buyout clause.
The agreement also includes an incentive option for a two-year extension that depends on the number of appearances Busquets makes.
The 27-year-old was a regular fixture in manager Luis Enrique's La Liga winning side in 2015-16 after making 53 appearances in all competitions.
The holding midfielder has helped Barca win six La Liga titles, three Champions League trophies, and several other significant pieces of silverware throughout his eight-year career at Camp Nou.
