Morata hopes to continue playing at Juventus with Dani Alves

Juventus forward Alvaro Morata hopes he hasn't played his last game with the club, especially given the opportunity of lining up next season with Dani Alves.

Morata is currently between two places, as former club Real Madrid has the option of activating a €35-million buyback clause in his contract this summer. He remains a Juventus player at the moment and has a deal with the Bianconeri that runs until June 2020, but he's uncertain where he'll be playing come September.

"I don't have any idea when my future will be decided, but I'm in no hurry because I have a contract with one of the best clubs in the world, because at Juventus I feel at home and because people love me," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "I hope that the last game (the Coppa Italia final) was not my last in Italy, I hope to play others.

"It's clear that I don't want to play for a team I don't like. I have a contract with Juventus and I can have my say, but it depends on the two clubs."

With Alves reportedly set to join Juventus on a three-year deal, Morata sees the potential for a reunion with one of his friends outside football.

"I'd like to have him as a teammate. We've met many times on vacation and he always treated me well," said Morata. "He's one of the best in the world in his position. Having him in the same team would be incredible."

The 23-year-old - who scored the winning goal in the Coppa Italia final to give Juventus a second consecutive domestic double - will represent Spain in Euro 2016.
