Jose Manuel Jurado has ended a one-year stay in Watford by joining Espanyol for an undisclosed fee, reuniting him with Quique Sanchez Flores for a fourth time.
The Spaniard returns to his homeland following stints with FC Schalke 04, Spartak Moscow, and the Hornets, signing a three-year deal in Barcelona.

Jurado was brought to Vicarage Road by Flores last summer, reuniting the pair again after the manager coached him at the Real Madrid youth setup before a four-year spell at Atletico Madrid. Flores was dismissed by Watford at the end of last season, but then ensured Jurado followed him to his latest role at Espanyol.
The 30-year-old made 30 appearances for Watford over the 2015-16 campaign, and follows Jose Antonio Reyes and goalkeeper Roberto as the third signing at the Estadi Cornella-El Prat this summer.
