Manchester City is reportedly set to tango with another Argentinian footballer.
City agreed to a deal to sign Geronimo Rulli for around £4 million, and will ship out the 24-year-old 'keeper to Real Sociedad on a season-long loan, according to the Guardian's Ed Aarons.
Rulli, a product of Estudiantes, spent the last two seasons on loan at Sociedad from Deportivo Maldonado, a Uruguayan club that acts as an intermediary of sorts for transfers between larger clubs. The team's model is based on signing South American players and loaning them out without any intention of having them play a single fixture in Uruguay.
Reports have suggested City may consider replacing Joe Hart, but the English 'keeper is apparently Pep Guardiola's first-choice shot-stopper and is happy for Rulli to continue developing at Sociedad.
Rulli appeared in all but two of Sociedad's La Liga matches last season and tallied 12 clean sheets while ranking fourth in total saves.
