Danubio's Cristian Gonzalez to continue career at Sevilla

Cristian Gonzalez, Danubio's 20-year-old prodigy, is leaving the club where he grew up.
On Thursday, Danubio announced Gonzalez will travel to Spain and join Sevilla, adding to a core that features a wealth of South American players and a Chilean manager in Jorge Sampaoli.

Gonzalez joined Danubio when he was only 12 years old and made his first-team debut for La Franja in 2015. He's leaving the Uruguayan club with 35 appearances, including four from the Copa Libertadores.
