"I love Andreas Pereira as a player and I would love to have him in my squad," said United boss Jose Mourinho at Friday's press conference. "But he will go to Granada."
Pereira was snapped up from PSV Eindhoven's academy as a youngster but, now 20, has found first-team football hard to come by at Old Trafford. He made 13 appearances during Louis van Gaal's two-year tenure.
The Brazilian scored a sensational hit for United against Wigan Athletic in a pre-season friendly this summer, but will continue his development in the Eredivisie.
PSV seeks its fourth-straight win to begin the league campaign when it hosts FC Groningen on Sunday.
