FIFA has banned former CONCACAF president and ex-FIFA vice president Jeffrey Webb from all football-related activities for life for accepting bribes, among other violations, the adjudicatory chamber of the organization's Ethics Committee announced Friday.

The investigation into Webb was opened in May 2015, and picked up steam when Webb pleaded guilty in U.S. federal court in November to one count of racketeering conspiracy, three counts of wire fraud conspiracy, and three counts of money laundering conspiracy.

FIFA declared Webb guilty of violations of the FIFA Code of Ethics, specifically article 13 (general rules of conduct), 15 (loyalty), 18 (duty of disclosure, cooperation and reporting), 19 (conflicts of interest) and 21 (bribery and corruption).

Webb was fined $1 million Swiss francs as well.

As a result, Webb, who also served as president of the Cayman Islands Football Association, has been barred for life from participating in any football-related activity at both the club and international level.

The 51-year-old, who was born in the Cayman Islands, was replaced by Alfredo Hawit at CONCACAF and by Bruce Blake at the Cayman Islands FA following his initial suspension in May 2015.

Webb also served as a senior executive with Grand Cayman bank Fidelity.
