Watch: Ter Stegen's horrible error costs Barcelona in wild loss to Celta Vigo
To put it rather plainly, Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen did not have a great day.
Having already directly been at fault for the opening goal in Saturday's La Liga clash against Celta Vigo, the German shot-stopper once again mistakenly misplayed the ball to give up a goal - this, his fourth of the night - by smacking a clearance off the face of Pablo Hernandez.
The fortunate tally put Barcelona down 4-2 at the time.
Gerard Pique pulled the score back to 4-3, but the match could not be salvaged, and Barcelona once again succumbed to a tough loss against this particular opponent; Celta Vigo posted a 4-1 win over the Blaugrana last year as well.
The surprising result has Barca sitting fourth in La Liga, two points adrift of leader Atletico Madrid, with Real Madrid and Sevilla sandwiched in between.
