Griezmann admits desire to play alongside Pogba at club level
Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann says he wants to play alongside Paul Pogba at the club level, revealing he's been asking his France teammate about life at Manchester United.
The two young French stars are on international duty for a pair of matches and while they're good friends in the national team camp, the two have yet to suit up side-by-side at the club level.
But that might change in the future.
"I always ask Paul Pogba about Manchester United," Griezmann told Sky Sport Germany, as quoted by ESPN FC. "I think they are a huge club with a really good infrastructure. I ask Paul about some of the players, and if they're really that good, or if Jose Mourinho is really that good.
"You hear a lot of things (speculation) about Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain but right now I don't see me moving to a new club. But it would be awesome to play alongside Paul one day.''
For its part, Manchester United is reportedly interested in adding Griezmann to its roster in the coming summer transfer window, though the 25-year-old signed a contract extension with Atletico in June.
