Barcelona president: Historic win 'will be remembered forever'

It's a night that will never be forgotten. Not by anyone in Catalonia - or Paris, for that matter - and not by anyone in world football.

Barcelona became the first team in Champions League history to overcome a four-goal deficit from the opening leg of a knockout tie, scoring six times to complete the greatest comeback in the tournament's history on Wednesday; Sergi Roberto's 95th-minute goal clinched the epic fightback, as the Blaugrana claimed a breathless 6-5 aggregate triumph over Paris Saint-Germain at the Camp Nou.

"This is a historic achievement that will be remembered forever," Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu said after the match.

It most certainly will.

The rest of the field, presumably under the assumption that Barcelona was going out of the competition, now likely feels a little less confident of their chances to hoist the trophy.
