Inter's Banega to sign 3-year contract with Sevilla, says agent
Ever Banega is edging toward a return to Sevilla after just one season in Italy with Inter Milan.
The Argentine's agent, Marcelo Simonian, revealed his client will return to Spain and an agreement over a three-year contract has already been reached.
"It is not complete because some small details still need taking care of," Simonian told ABC Sevilla, as translated by Jonathan Johnson of ESPN FC. "However, we are all in agreement. We are going back to Seville. For how many years? We have a three-year contract."
The 28-year-old joined Inter as a free agent last summer following two years in Seville, where he helped the Liga outfit capture a pair of Europa League titles.
Speculation over his unrest emerged late in the season when Banega's role was reduced, starting only six of Inter's last 12 matches.
He was previously linked with a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, where he was expected to reunite with former Sevilla manager Unai Emery.
