Mbappe beats Dembele, Rashford to win 2017 Golden Boy award
Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has been crowned the best young player in Europe after beating the likes of Marcus Rashford and Ousmane Dembele to win the 2017 Golden Boy award.
Mbappe takes home the coveted award following a decorated season in which he was influential in helping AS Monaco win the Ligue 1 title and reach the Champions League semi-finals.

Mbappe grabbed headlines during a dominant display in the Champions League, when he scored in both legs against Manchester City in the Round of 16. He went on to finish the season strong, eventually earning himself a lucrative transfer move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The French international won the award by a landslide, securing 291 votes compared to runner-up Ousman Dembele, who collected 149.
Manchester United's Marcus Rashford and Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus finished as the Premier League's top young players.
United's Anthony Martial (2015) was the last player from England's top flight to win the Golden Boy award, which is organized by Italian outlet Tuttosport.
