Cadiz promoted to La Liga after Real Zaragoza drop points
Cadiz are back in La Liga for the first time since 2006 after Real Oviedo defeated Real Zaragoza 4-2 on Sunday.
Alvaro Cervera's side missed the opportunity to secure promotion on Saturday when it fell 1-0 at home to Fuenlabrada. However, Zaragoza's loss the following day left Cadiz with a seven-point cushion in the second tier's automatic places with two matches remaining.
Cadiz need only one point to clinch the title thanks to their better record in head-to-head matches against Huesca, who are positioned second.

The club's success this campaign has been built on Alex Fernandez's 12 goals from midfield and uncompromising defensive work from the likes of Alfonso Espino and Isaac Carcelen. The team's president, Manolo Vizcaino, told El Transistor on Sunday that veteran striker Alvaro Negredo will join Cadiz for their La Liga return.
Cadiz conclude their league season with matches against Girona and Albacete.
