Fan favorites Santi Cazorla and Bruno Soriano will both play their final match for Villarreal in Sunday's visit from Eibar.
Cazorla, 35, started his playing days at Villarreal and rejoined the club in 2018. Overall, the artful midfielder has spent nine seasons with the Yellow Submarine. He won two FA Cups during a six-year stint with Arsenal.
Bruno, 36, is set to retire after spending his entire career at Villarreal. He was sidelined for three years with a succession of knee injuries before he finally returned to the pitch against Sevilla last month. He's since added another five substitute appearances before this weekend's fixture.
"It makes it even more special being with Bruno until the very last day, when we've experienced almost everything at this club together," Cazorla said.
Spanish media outlets report Cazorla is moving to Al-Sadd, the Qatari club overseen by Barcelona and Spain legend Xavi, according to Reuters. Cazorla won the European Championship in 2008 and 2012 with Xavi but missed out on Spain's squad for the victorious 2010 World Cup campaign due to injury.
