Jean-Clair Todibo confirmed Wednesday that he is the Barcelona player who tested positive for the coronavirus.
The club issued a statement earlier Wednesday to announce the positive result but did not reveal the player's identity.
"Hello everyone, I inform you that I have tested positive for COVID-19," he said on Twitter, as translated by The Evening Standard's Ben Hayward.
"I'm asymptomatic and I feel good. I'm at home following the adequate health protocol.
"I am very keen to return to training, but now I have to stay at home until the virus passes."
The Catalan side also added that the player - Todibo - has not been in contact with any member of the senior team ahead of Friday's Champions League quarterfinal match against Bayern Munich.
