A tissue Lionel Messi allegedly used during his final press conference with Barcelona is being auctioned off with a hefty price tag.
The item was listed on international e-commerce platform Meikeduo for $1 million USD, according to multiple reports. The seller claimed the asking price is so high because the tissue contains Messi's "genetic material" and could be used to clone the Argentine superstar.
Messi left Barca earlier this month after 21 years with the club. He was in tears during his farewell press conference on Aug. 8, stating he and his family wanted to stay in the Catalan capital "more than anything."
The 34-year-old subsequently joined Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year contract.
