Barcelona named Ronald Araujo in their Champions League squad to face Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday after the defender was cleared to play following surgery on a hamstring injury.
Uruguayan centre-back Araujo, 25, sustained the hamstring tear while on international duty at the Copa America in July.
Coach Hansi Flick called Araujo up for the first time this season ahead of the clash in Germany between Barcelona, third in the group standings, and last season's runners-up Dortmund, fourth.
