Barcelona's teenage centre-back Pau Cubarsi has signed a new deal until 2029, the Catalan club said Thursday.
Spain international Cubarsi, 18, became a key player last season under former coach Xavi Hernandez.
He made his debut in January 2024 shortly before his 17th birthday, and has now played 60 times for the club across all competitions.
"It was clear that Cubarsi was a special player from that moment onwards... and he is set to remain so for many years more," said the club in a statement.
Cubarsi, who boasts an impressive passing range, has five appearances for the Spanish national team and won gold at the 2024 Olympics with his country.
