Khedira's agent denies any talk between Arsenal or Chelsea

Despite reports linking him to both Arsenal and Chelsea, the agent for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira claims that he hasn't been contacted by either team. 

“We are not in talks with Arsenal,” Jorg Neubauer told Matt Law of the Telegraph. “I don’t think a fee can have been agreed, otherwise I would have been told.

“When a club have an interest I am sure they will call me and we will speak about things. The same goes for Chelsea.”

Sky Sports reported Wednesday that Arsenal and Real Madrid agreed to a transfer fee, but the Gunners were still working on Khedira's contract. 

The 27-year-old has one year remaining on his deal with Real Madrid, though an extension appears far from the conversation. 

“We are talking to Real Madrid about his contract, but nothing is close to being decided,” said Neubauer. “Sami has just returned from the World Cup and has gone on holiday.”
