VIDEO: Javier Lara Grande makes history for SD Eibar

The smallest team to ever compete in La Liga made history on Sunday.

SD Eibar's budget for this season is nearly equivalent to what Barcelona star Lionel Messi will make over the same time. The club had to raise €1.7 million in order to take their place in Spain's top flight. Failure to do so would've resulted in a drop to the third tier.

They raised the funds in time, and began their first Primera campaign in style at home against Real Sociedad. 

Javier Lara Grande's stunning free kick just before halftime gave Eibar the lead, and more importantly, their first goal ever in Spain's top division. 

The big boys better watch out. Eibar is coming.
