While Neymar can never forget Juan Camilo Zúñiga's horror tackle that prematurely ended his World Cup, the Brazilian captain has seemingly forgiven the Colombian defender.
Prior to Brazil's 1-0 victory over Colombia during a friendly match in Miami on Friday, Neymar and Zúñiga met at half and hugged it out, just two months after their infamous meeting in Brazil.
The after-effects of Brazil's quarter-final World Cup match against Colombian had a profound impact on both men's lives. After Zúñiga's knee collided with Neymar's back, the Colombian defender was the recipient of numerous death threats in the days and weeks that followed the reckless tackle, whereas Neymar was famously left with a fractured vertebrae.
But now it appears the two have reconciled after this classy encounter:
