Graziano Pelle claims he's better looking than Cristiano Ronaldo

Let the debate begin.

Southampton striker Graziano Pelle has made a claim in his new book, "Pelle Talks, 1000 Questions and More," that is sure to incite some discussion - and perhaps anger - among those who worship at the altar of Cristiano Ronaldo.

When asked who is more attractive, he or the Real Madrid superstar, the Italian had a simple response.

"Me. Cristiano is good looking but I am a little bit taller," he wrote.

You be the judge (not on the height debate, as Pelle is indeed just over two inches taller than his more illustrious counterpart). But on the question of who is easier on the eyes, let's take a look at the combatants.

As for which Hollywood icon would be best suited to portray Pelle in a movie, well, the photogenic striker wants only the best.

"George Clooney, because he is elegant," said the 29-year-old.
