Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't need to do this.

Considering the dominating scoring performances Ronaldo's recorded this season, it's a shame the Portuguese superstar has to succumb to such atrocities as the dive he simulated on Saturday to win a penalty.

As he realised his teammate's cross into the box was going to sail over his head, Ronaldo promptly hit the deck as if he were tripped by the Celta Vigo defender.

His fraudulent act went unnoticed as the referee rewarded Ronaldo with a penalty. Ronaldo converted and Real Madrid went into halftime with the goal advantage. 

Cue the pro-Lionel Messi brigade as they will undoubtedly use this ammunition to spew their venom towards Ronaldo. Again.
