Barcelona have attached a heavy price tag to their 19-year-old phenom Munir El Haddadi.
On Tuesday, the Catalan club updated El Haddadi's contract to include a release clause valued at some €35 million, a move that likely indicates Barcelona's intention to hold onto the Spanish prodigy for the foreseeable future.
El Haddadi has made eight appearances for Barcelona this season, notching one goal and one assist. He was also part of the club's U-19 squad that won the inaugural UEFA Youth League this year, and he received his first-ever cap for Spain's national team in a recent Euro 2016 qualifier versus Macedonia.
Here's footage of El Haddadi signing his updated contract at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
