Consider Neymar, Luis Suarez, and Andres Iniesta as "others."
In conversation with Radio MARCA, Cesc Fabregas, whose £27-million move from Barcelona to Chelsea this summer was well documented, reminisced on his time at the Camp Nou. He didn't hesitate to advertise his belief that the Catalan club is currently a one-man team led by Lionel Messi.
"He's more, Barcelona is Messi and 10 others this season," Fabregas said. "He's saving the team in many games."
Because of the incredibly high standard Barcelona are constantly held to, Luis Enrique's side have come under criticism following a number of matches throughout their campaign - despite the fact they trail La Liga leaders Real Madrid by only one point and didn't concede a single goal in their opening eight fixtures.
Messi has scored 15 of the club's 41 goals while assisting another seven, numbers in line with his contributions last season.
By contrast, Fabregas has scored one and assisted 11 of Chelsea's 36 goals in the Premier League.
