While it may have looked a bit unconventional, James Rodriguez's header against Sevilla did the trick and gave Real Madrid an early lead Wednesday.

The Colombian timed his run perfectly to avoid being caught offside when Marcelo delivered a lob into the Sevilla box.

Once he was in alone on goal, Rodriguez assessed the bouncing ball and produced a diving header to give his side the 1-0 lead inside the first 15 minutes.
