Manager Gaizka Garitano announces departure from Eibar
Gaizka Garitano's time at Ipurua is over, as the manager announced that he's leaving SD Eibar following the club's relegation from La Liga.
Garitano anuncia que deja el Eibar porque no ha cumplido con el objetivo de la permanencia y ha terminado un ciclo.

His decision came in the immediate aftermath of Eibar's 3-0 win versus Cordoba CF, a result that wasn't enough for La Liga's smallest club to remain in the top flight of Spanish football.
Garitano took over at Eibar ahead of the 2012-13 campaign and guided the Basque side to La Liga for the first time in club history by clinching the 2013-14 Segunda Division title.
It was a remarkable feat for a club that hail from a tiny town with a population of 25,000, play in a ground with a capacity of 2,500, and are believed to have only 2,500 hardcore supporters.
