Any doubt about Pedro's future at Barcelona was extinguished Thursday after the sides agreed to a contract extension.

The Spanish club announced Pedro agreed to terms on a new contract that will keep him at the Camp Nou until June 2019. He will have a buy-out clause worth €150 million.

Pedro will sign the deal in the coming days.

Pedro, whose contract was set to expire June 2016, appeared to be on his way out following a season where playing time was hard to come by, as Barcelona's three-headed monster of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez saw the majority of time up front.

Though he made 35 league appearances during Barca's championship-winning season, Pedro was primarily used off the bench after appearing as a substitute in 20 matches.

His signing comes a day after the Catalan giants locked up Jordi Alba to a long-term deal. The left-back's deal was also accompanied by a gargantuan €150 million buy-out clause.
