Gael Kakuta to undergo medical at Sevilla on Thursday ahead of move from Chelsea

A medical is all that separates Gael Kakuta from a move to Sevilla FC.

Sevilla announced Thursday that the 23-year-old attacking midfielder, whose resume includes numerous loan spells across Europe, will complete a transfer to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium from Chelsea FC should all go well with a medical on Thursday.

Since joining Chelsea at the age of 16, Kakuta has spent season after season on loan. Most recently, he completed a loan spell at Rayo Vallecano, notching five goals and seven assists through 35 La Liga appearances in 2014-15.
