Barcelona's new summer signing Arda Turan has suffered a sprained ankle during training.
The Turkey international has been diagnosed with a second degree sprain and is expected to undergo further tests to determine the severity of the injury.
His absence from the team, however, won't have an impact on the squad to begin the season since Barcelona's transfer ban already ruled him out of making his debut until January.
But the major downside to a possibly long-term injury will be his inability to train and acclimatize himself with new teammates at the Camp Nou following his €34-million transfer from Atletico Madrid.
