It's been quite a year for Jesus Vallejo.
After captaining Spain to glory at the European Under-19 Championship in Greece earlier this month, the 18-year-old defender will now be moving to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid announced Friday that an agreement was reached with Real Zaragoza for the transfer of Vallejo, who will sign a six-year contract with the club but will remain at Zaragoza for the coming season.
Spanish daily AS reported Wednesday that Real Madrid will pay €6 million for his services.
Vallejo, widely regarded as one of Spain's up-and-coming defenders, made four Segunda Division appearances last season at Zaragoza, which ended the campaign sitting sixth in the table and just missed out on promotion to La Liga.
