Barcelona's Neymar out 2 weeks with mumps; will miss Super Cup matches

Barcelona will be without one third of its otherworldly attacking trident for the club's upcoming Super Cup matches.
The Blaugrana announced Sunday that Neymar has contracted the mumps virus. As a result, he will miss two weeks of action - a timeline ruling him out of both the European Super Cup against Sevilla on Aug. 11 and the Spanish Super Cup against Athletic Bilbao, which will be played over two legs between Aug. 14 and 17.
The club claims the Brazilian captain, 23, was diagnosed with the virus despite having been vaccinated.
His absence will see Barcelona take the pitch without a player responsible for 39 goals in all competitions last season. Of course, having Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez makes that absence a tad easier to swallow.
