VIDEO: Luis Suarez produces Barcelona's 1st goal of new season with emphatic volley
It took longer than expected by the standards of Barcelona, but the Catalan club finally found its first goal of the 2015-16 La Liga season in the 54th minute of its opener at Athletic Bilbao.
Just when it was beginning to look like Athletic would earn yet another positive result against Barcelona, Jordi Alba couriered a wonderful cross to an unmarked Luis Suarez with his first touch, and the Uruguayan made no mistake from the edge of the six-yard box.
Remarkably, Barcelona - which went on to win the fixture 1-0 - is 19-0-0 when Suarez scores, and his last 20 La Liga appearances have seen 26.2 percent of his shots find the back of the net.
