VIDEO: Roberto Soldado scores in his debut match for Villarreal

Former Tottenham forward Roberto Soldado showed he's still got his Spanish scoring chops, finding the back of the net in his first match for Villarreal against Real Betis.
Soldado picked out a long cross from Jaume Costa, controlling the ball well. Having already beaten the Betis players for position and on the offside trap, the Spanish striker slotted home with no fuss, giving his side a 1-0 lead.
Soldado was heavily criticised during his time in London but was a consistent goal scorer in La Liga during his time with Valencia. He, like Fernando Torres before him, seems to be proving those doubters in London wrong with a debut goal of his own.
