Sergio Busquets says winning football matches better than sex
Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has experienced plenty of football's most pleasurable moments, winning La Liga, the Champions League, and the FIFA World Cup during his playing days. For Busquets, those memories and accomplishments are simply unrivaled, even in the bedroom.
If given the choice between the joy and jubilation that comes with winning football matches or the carnal pleasures of coitus, Busquets says the choice is as clear as day.
"In football, happiness lasts three or four days," Busquets told Spanish TV show "El Hormiguero."
"Sex, on the other hand, can last just one minute!"
For Busquets, the lasting high of a well-earned victory is one he'll keep on chasing, but football isn't all fun and games. The hard-tackling midfielder also weighed some of the negatives that come with playing the beautiful game.
"After a bad game you just go home, shut the door and you don't want to go out for three or four days," Busquets mused. "Fans don't insult you after a bad day, but many of them remind you it was not your best one."
Fair enough, Mr. Busquets - just don't tell that to the missus!
