Neymar is the world's modern-day Samson.

The Barcelona forward, known as much for his eclectic hairstyles as his trickery and attacking prowess, made the bold decision to shave his head prior to Saturday's match against Las Palmas.

Aside from looking decidedly strange, the new 'do seems to have had some less-than-ideal repercussions, as the Brazilian fired an atrocious penalty in the second half of the match.

Barcelona would still go on to comfortably win the match 2-1.
