Ronaldo breaks Raul's record, becomes Real Madrid's all-time leading scorer
Now, there's no debate.
During a week in which he was honoured for capturing his fourth Golden Shoe award as the top scorer in Europe for the 2014-15 season, Cristiano Ronaldo reached another, far more momentous achievement Saturday against Levante.

The Portuguese superstar scored his 324th goal with Real Madrid, surpassing club legend Raul as the club's all-time leading marksman.
Don't expect the tally to be recognized with a ceremony by the club, however.
Real Madrid, contrary to the rest of the football world, now credits Ronaldo with 325 goals while wearing the iconic white kit, a difference of opinion that stems from a contentious goal scored in 2010.
A free-kick from the reigning Ballon d'Or winner deflected off the back of compatriot Pepe, with everyone other than Real Madrid crediting the defender with the goal. Los Blancos, of course, were quick to attribute the attacker with the strike, and even held a ceremony earlier this month after he scored twice against Malmo, which, in the eyes of the club, was enough to surpass the Spaniard.

Whoever you believe, Ronaldo is now the undisputed leading scorer in the history of arguably the world's most storied club, and he needed only 310 games to accomplish the feat - an absurd total when you consider that Raul required 741 games to reach his total.
