Report: Real Madrid's Martin Odegaard to push for loan exit in winter transfer window
Martin Odegaard, the 16-year-old who joined Real Madrid at the beginning of the calendar year, is reportedly unhappy at the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to Jose Felix Diaz of Marca, the teenage phenom isn't satisfied with featuring for Real Madrid Castilla, the club's reserve team that competes in the third division of Spanish football, and will seek an exit via loan during the winter transfer window.
Odegaard has yet to feature for Real Madrid this season despite training with the squad. He has, however, made eight appearances for Castilla and was named as one of Time's "30 Most Influential Teens of 2015" on Tuesday.
It was reported before the season kicked off that Getafe and Villarreal were possible destinations for Odegaard, who was then uncertain about his future but said: "I'm very happy in Madrid and that is all I can say at the moment."

At the end of last season, Odegaard became the youngest player to take the field for Real Madrid when he replaced Cristiano Ronaldo in the 57th minute of the club's 7-3 thrashing of Getafe. He was, specifically, 16 years, 5 months, and 6 days old.
