Report: David Moyes on verge of sack from Real Sociedad
A year after he was appointed manager of Real Sociedad, David Moyes is reportedly set to be sacked.
Moyes is expected to meet with Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay on Sunday night and will be informed that his time at the Anoeta is up, according to Sid Lowe of the Guardian. Eusebio Sacristan is apparently expected to replace Moyes, who spent the weekend in the United Kingdom following Sociedad's 2-0 defeat at Las Palmas on Friday.
Moyes apparently flew straight to UK on Friday [after 0-2 at Las Palmas] to celebrate daughter's birthday. Likely back soon for good etc.

Moyes, whose contract runs until June 30, 2016, has been in charge of Sociedad for 38 fixtures, the equivalent of a full La Liga campaign. During that time he tallied 11 victories, 13 draws, and 13 defeats. He helped the club to a 12th-place finish last season, but the loss at Las Palmas left the team sitting on nine points through 11 matchdays, just above the relegation zone.
Following Sociedad's defeat in the Canary Islands, supporters and the Spanish media ripped Moyes apart. As BBC Sport points out, "#MoyesDimision" and "#MoyesVeteYa" could be seen across Twitter, and Mikel Encinas, editor of Mundo Deportivo's coverage of the club, wrote the source of anger was "the image presented by the team" rather than the result itself.
The sacking of Moyes would mark the second time he failed to see out a contract in just over one year and a half, as Manchester United fired him in April 2014, before he completed the first season of a six-year deal at Old Trafford.
