If you can't beat them, try and chop them down at the knee.
That seems to be Real Madrid's mindset in the waning minutes of Saturday's match against Barcelona. Or, at the very least, Isco's.
The substitute was shown a straight red card in the 85th minute of the contest for an atrocious tackle on Neymar, with the Spaniard hacking the tricky Brazilian directly on the inside of the knee. The Blaugrana were cruising, up 4-0 at the time.
Luckily, Neymar wasn't seriously injured on the play, and was able to complete the match.
