David Moyes ready to manage in major European leagues again
David Moyes hasn't let a disappointing spell with Real Sociedad discourage him from taking up another managing role in Europe.
Less than a month after being handed his walking papers by the Spanish club to which he felt his loyalty went unrewarded, Moyes appears to have developed a hunger to again manage in one of the top leagues in Europe.
"I'm open-minded and Spain whetted my appetite," Moyes told BBC. "If the right opportunities came up in the major leagues I'd be interested."
A move to another club this soon would contrast the lengthy period he spent between roles following his dismissal from Manchester United, when it took him seven months to land the Sociedad job.
Though his tenure in Spain only lasted a year, Moyes is grateful for the experience in a league with superior teams to those in the Premier League, where he spent 11 seasons, primarily with Everton before joining United.
"It's very difficult to compare the two leagues. The best teams are in Spain and many of the best players are in Spain,"
