Ronaldo takes heat from Real Madrid fans for underwear tweet
Whoever manages Cristiano Ronaldo's social media accounts chose the worst timing to tweet about one of his product lines.
Minutes after the official announcement that Real Madrid had been unceremoniously disqualified from the Copa del Rey for fielding an ineligible player, a tweet from CR7's account promoting his Christmas underwear line enraged the Spanish club's fans.

Though Ronaldo almost certainly does not manage his social media accounts personally, a series of angry replies in English, Spanish, and Portuguese soon followed, reminding Ronaldo that the last thing they were in the mood to hear about was his underwear collection.
@Cristiano firstly you have to play a good, then you will be advertise your drawers, clothes etc)

@Cristiano Hey, Cristiano, I checked your collection out. Pretty good quality.

This is certainly not the first time, nor likely the last, that the controversial soccer star has inadvertently infuriated Real Madrid fans. In February, he received backlash for celebrating his 30th birthday in style right after a 4-0 thrashing from Atletico Madrid.
