VIDEO: Athletic Bilbao's San Jose sent off after shoving Malaga's Charles

It took only 18 minutes before Athletic Bilbao was reduced to 10 players in its La Liga fixture versus Malaga on Sunday.

After finding himself on the receiving end of a seemingly malicious challenge in the match's opening moments, Mikel San Jose retaliated by shoving Charles to the ground. San Jose was subsequently issued a red card for the reprisal, which may or may not have featured some embellishment on the latter's behalf.

Not since 1997 had one of Athletic's players been sent off at San Mames so early in a La Liga game.
